Optical waveguide Cables and Wires

Data transmission cables for the automation industry, particularly optical waveguides, are always used, when high data rates cannot be transmitted by conventional, electrical systems. Additionally, the optical waveguides are always applied, when electrical cables cannot be implemented because of e.g. danger of explosion or when high requirements on the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) characteristics need to be fulfilled.
