Compensating Cables & Thermocouple Extension Wires

Compensating cables & thermoelectric cables are required to transmit the thermoelectric voltage from the thermocouple to the reference junction of the so-called ‘black box’.

Due to the wide variety of applications, e.g. in steelworks, cold stores or in liquid gas systems, where reliable temperature measurement and safe transmission of the resulting thermoelectric voltage in the mV range is always required, the compensating cables and thermoelectric cables manufactured by us are insulated with a wide variety of materials or the thermoelectric voltage and cables are protected by braiding, foil and/or armouring.
