Nation's best trainee again from Viersen
Through narrations of SAB's nation's Best of the former six training years he had a general idea of the event but belonging to Germany's Best himself was overwhelming for him.
The journey to Berlin to the MARITIM Hotel in Stauffenberg Street started on December, 8th. There, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce honoured the nation's best apprentices already for the ninth time. In 2014, more than 320,000 young women and men finished their apprenticeships, whereof only 232 from 223 various professions became nation's best. Andreas Frescher from Viersen is one of those 232 best. Full of anticipation, he follows the welcome speech of Dr Eric Schweitzer, president of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The following presentation of the event is again held by the entertainer Barbara Schöneberger. With joke and charm, she wins the audience's full attention and Frescher is enthusiastic about meeting her personally. Keynote speaker this year is Germany's Minister for Economic Affairs, Sigmar Gabriel.
Andreas Frescher recapitulates his apprenticeship not without pride: "The apprenticeship with SAB Bröckskes was very demanding but during the training time, the apprentices have been supported by the whole company team, especially by our training supervisor, Achim Harmes. I learned a lot from him and he answered all of our questions. Furthermore, he accompanied me to the nation's best event in Berlin." Naturally, Andreas Frescher and his six training colleagues have been taken over by SAB Bröckskes in Viersen and thus, will contribute to the success of the company also in the future.
